Vilarmaior is a small rural town on the the old Route of Santiago de Compostela. If you visit the municipality you will discover unspoiled landscapes and charming places.

The archaeological heritage is composed of the church of Santa María de Doroña (12th Century), the rectory of San Xurxo de Torres and several mills on the banks of the municipality’s rivers.

The Feira das Flores is a flower festival that takes place in Vilarmaior and it’s the only one to celebrate Galician rural culture. Craftwork, gastronomy and flowers are brought together on the third Sunday of May.
